Rap Star Chandan Shetty and Nivedita Gowda of Big Boss fame have entered a new phase of life after tying the nuptial knot. The bride and the bridegroom were excited.
They revealed they were a couple when Chandan proposed her on stage during his Yuva Dasara 2019 performance. The magical love tale turned into reality in an adorable traditional wedding. Nivedita Gowda, who is called “Bombe” which means “doll” by her fan fraternity certainly looked dolled up in ornaments.
Nivedita’s parents were seen sadly “giving away” their 18-year-old daughter in Kanyadaan in the ritual called “vidai” in Hindu marriages. As expected the bride herself shed tears for she would miss her parents and start leading a new life with her husband in Bengaluru.
Chandan Shetty is a 30-year-old singer who has a firm foothold in the Kannada film industry. He has sung many popular songs for Stars like Puneeth Rajkumar. He started his career as a popular rapper and a Youtuber. On Wednesday, 26 Feb Chandan Shetty of Kannada rap songs and Nivedita Gowda of Big Boss fame got married in the presence of friends and family.
Nivedita is originally from the cultural city Mysore she was decked up in gold ornaments and wore red Zari saree paired with a green blouse at the lavish wedding ceremony held at Hinakal Spectra Kalyana Mandapam where they tied the knot between 8.15 am and 9 am in a Shubha Muhurtham.
Many of Sandalwood’s top politicians and members of the Sandalwood family including Puneeth Raj Kumar, MP Pratap Simha, Dhruva Sarja attended the event last night and blessed the couple during the grand reception.
Nivedita’s parents Hema and Ramesh, Chandanshetty’s parents Premalatha and Paramesh and friends were present as those who attended extended their blessings to the newlyweds.
Nivedita’s house near Dattagalli in Mysore has been buzzing with ceremonial activities for three days now.
