Bengaluru – August 19, 2020: For early detection and treatment we need to conduct more number of Covid tests says medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. He was speaking in a video conference with the heads of government and private medical colleges which are lagging behind in achieving the set target of testing.

Incresed testing will help to detect infection at a very early stage and helps better treatment. Therefore, it is necessary for all the Covid test labs to achieve the target tests. Obstacles to conducting maximum number of tests are being looked upon and the government will extend all help in this regard. ACS and covid testing in-charge Dr.Shalini Rajaneesh and other officials were present.

Vrishabhavati Lift irrigation water for Chikkaballapur
In a meeting with Minor irrigation minister J.C.Madhuswamy, Dr Sudhakar discussed Implementation of phase 2 of Vrishabhavati valley lift irrigation project to supply water to 224 lakes of Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru rural and Chikkaballapura districts. 308 MLD water will be released to these lakes which will improve the ground water levels in these districts.
