Cow slaughter is sin; we need a people’s movement against Cow Slaughter in the District: Chikkaballapur district in-Charge Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar
Will request CM to ban cow Slaughter in the state
Chikkaballapur: Cow is like a member of the family and it’s a crime to kill cows, said Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar. He was speaking at inauguration of Goshala organised by Akhila Karnataka Vokkaligara okkuta here on Sunday. Will request Chief Minister to ban cow slaughter in the state, he said. Also, there is a need for people’s movement to create awareness against of Cow slaughtering. Minister also said that being Indians all state governments should ban Cow slaughtering.

Cow is worshipped in our culture, there needs a detailed discussion in both assembly and council to ban export of beef. Our party is committed to ban cow slaughter, there will be a decision soon on this, said the Minister. Recalling his past days where the Minister’s family also had few cows, he said that cow dung acts as disinfectent. DC and other officials were present during the function.
Minister Perform Bhumi Puja
Earlier Minister took part in Bhumi Puja function for “Guru Bhavana” building near Chikkaballapur organised by Zilla Panchayat, District administration and Education department. Speaking at the function Minister said that this will benefit teachers of the district. He also said that New Educational Policy is a path breaking reform which will provide equal opportunities for people of all class.

• We are confident that Centre will provide State share of GST, which is essential to revamp economy.
• The Drugs Mafia is widespread in Bengaluru, this is dangerous for any society. We need to weed it out at the initial stages, police will take stern action against drug mafia.
• Minister also participated in stone laying ceremony of Shri Anjaneya Swamy temple, and renovation ceremony of Shri Eeranna swamy temple.
