District in-charge Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar distributes possession certificates to 166 beneficiaries under Grameena Ashraya scheme

Chikkaballapura – Wednesday 12 August: District in-charge Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar has distributed possession certificates to over 166 beneficiaries under Grameena Ashraya scheme in various village panchayat limits in Chikkaballapur on Wednesday. Speaking to the media here, the minister said that we have fulfilled our promise of free shelters. The government will give 1.20 lakhs each for the plot and the beneficiaries can build the houses with in 3 months after possession. He said.
The Minister also said that the district has received good rain fall during this season, H.N valley water has already reached the district, around 25 lakes in the district will be replenished with this water. Efforts are on to implement Yettinahole project. We are committed to solve the water issue in Chikkaballapura and Kolar districts Minister said.
Minister initiated various developmental works in the district including work for hostel building in Bagepalli at a cost of 4.69 Cr. Zilla Panchayat president Chikkanarasimhaiah, District Commissioner Smt Latha were present during his visit.
Responding to the Bengaluru riots issue the Minister said that strict action will be initiated against anti-social elements who conspired the riots. It is unfortunate that even journalists and police personnel were attacked. There was never an incident of this type before in the city. Bangalore is known as a peace loving and dynamic city. Culprits will be punished. Dr.Sudhakar added
